DO YOU WANT TO BE FIT AND LEARN SELF DEFENSE WHILE GETTING IN SHAPE? ARE YOU TOO BUSY OR TIRED AFTER A LONG DAY TO GO TO A FITNESS OR SELF DEFENSE CLASS?, THEN THIS COURSE IS FOR YOU!
In our Self-Defense Xtreme course, students revisit and strengthen all the skills and values learnt from previous training if any. However, special emphasis is placed on learning self-defense. Students will learn the skills required to defend themselves effectively at all times, regardless of the situation!
If you are already a highly skilled Martial Artist but too busy to train or not interested in doing so at a traditional school; join us, train with us and teach with us!! One or more of our highly experienced and skilled instructors will guide the class although most of the learning will come from sharing of knowledge with fellow dedicated Martial artists. E.G. each expert will have a turn or several to share their knowledge by leading the training once approved.
Self defense xtremists will learn a wide range of self-defense techniques and moves present in Hapkido and other Martial Arts such as Brazilian Jujitsu, Judo, Wing Chun Kunfu, Karate, Krav Maga, Taekwondo, etc. The use of traditional weapons is also taught, which includes weapons such as the rope, short stick, knife, sword, middle-length staff and the infamous nunchaku.
First twenty minutes of class will be dedicated to intense fitness conditioning and stretching led by nationally certified personal trainer. The remainder of class will focus on techniques. Since fitness is an essential part of this club, late arrivals may be required to complete their conditioning requirement before joining the rest of the class.
Current meeting times for these classes are 10:30 am. Saturdays.
